The only other point which we have at present occasion to notice is that a sum of £2083. 8d. has been brought to Credit by the Treasurer under the heads of "Receipts for the recovery of a Bond: for $10,000 Connected with the 'Opium Monopoly'", as shown in the state of the Account; This is in addition to the receipts shown on the Estimates of Revenues and Receipts for the period, and it is only from this credit that this Officer derives any information on the subject.
